What is a Zine?
A Zine is a non-commercial collection of fan creations (including but not limited to: fanfiction, fanart, cosplay, and meta), that is collected and published either digitally or physically. First appearing in the 1930s and 40s within the science fiction fandom, their popularity has grown throughout the 20th century, notably with Star Trek and other indie projects. Today, proceeds from physical zines are usually donated to charity, and the aim of these projects is to celebrate pieces of media or other shared interests.
Will this zine be physical or digital?
Since this project is free, it will only be distributed digitally. The completed zine will be published and available to view on heyzine, and we will have an AO3 collection for the creators to post their works once the zine has been out for a week.
What is the content focus of the zine?
The zine will have a main focus on Peggy and the friendships that she has with other characters, but it will also be open for pieces that focus on the friendships between other characters during the period of the Agent Carter Show (1940s).
Is shipping allowed in the zine?
Any writing or art created for the zine will feature platonic relationships only, with the exception of Jarvis and Ana as a background relationship (such as in a fic revolving around Peggy’s friendship with Jarvis).
How many contributors will the zine have?
We are using an open sign up based model for the zine, so there is not a limit on contributors. However, if any submission does not follow the zine's guidelines, it will not be published in the final zine.
How will the content of a contributor's piece be determined?
We're looking for some variety in the different friendships and concepts presented in the zine, so each contributor will give 3 ideas about what they'd like to create when they sign up. After sign ups close, the mods will choose one pitch from each contributor for them to create.
Is there an age minimum for contributors?
All contributors must be at least 16 years old.
What kind of contributors is the zine looking for?
This zine will feature fanwriting and fanart. Art pieces can be in any medium the contributor wishes, including either digital drawings or physical art (in any medium). Writers may create fanfiction or poetry.
What are contributors required to submit?
For the final piece, fanfiction needs to be between 1200 and 1500 words, and poetry needs to be less than 2 pages. Artists may create page art, a comic (max 4 pages), or a spread (2 pages) if they wish.
How long will contributors have to create?
Contributors will have about 9 weeks to create their works, with 2 check ins during this time, about 3 weeks apart from each other. Check ins will serve as a progress update for the mods, and you'll be receiving feedback about your work.

Ghost (she/her)
Graphics, Art, and Layout Mod
Known Aliases: starlightpeggy, tiredmoonlight

A fanfic writer of over seven and a half years, Ghost has loved the characters and episodes of Agent Carter ever since she first watched it, and Peggy might have actually succeeded where no fictional character ever had before: stealing her heart. Having run over eleven fanfic events and participated in countless more, zinedom has captured her interest, and she’s so excited to see what this project brings.

Sophie (she/her)
Editing and Social Media Mod
Known Aliases: CaptainSophieStark

Sophie’s been on the internet writing fic for eight years, which she still can’t quite believe. While it took her a little longer to find Agent Carter, it quickly became one of her all-time favorite shows, mostly as a result of the incredible characters it developed. It’s the fandom she’s written the most for, and she’s participated in several Agent Carter fic events including Agent Carter Bingo and Peggysous Week (both run by Ghost). An aspiring author and all-around fangirl, Sophie can’t wait to work with other incredible creators in the fandom to make something celebrating the show and characters we all love.
